ACF and PSF Filtration Systems

Our Activated Carbon Filter (ACF) and Pressure Sand Filter (PSF) systems are essential components of water treatment plants, providing effective removal of suspended solids, turbidity, taste, odor, and organic compounds. Equipped with automatic multiport valves, these systems offer hassle-free operation and maintenance.

Pressure Sand Filter (PSF)

The PSF system uses specially graded sand media in a pressure vessel to remove suspended solids, turbidity, and particulate matter from water.

PSF Features:

  • Multi-layer sand media bed
  • FRP/MS pressure vessels
  • Automatic multiport valve
  • Removes particles down to 20-30 microns
  • High flow rates
  • Easy backwash operation

PSF Benefits:

  • Reduces turbidity to less than 1 NTU
  • Protects downstream equipment
  • Low operating costs
  • Minimal maintenance
  • Long media life (3-5 years)

Activated Carbon Filter (ACF)

The ACF system uses activated carbon media to remove chlorine, taste, odor, color, and organic compounds through adsorption.

ACF Features:

  • High-quality activated carbon media
  • Large surface area for adsorption
  • FRP/MS pressure vessels
  • Automatic multiport valve
  • Removes chlorine, pesticides, VOCs
  • Improves taste and odor

ACF Benefits:

  • Removes up to 99% chlorine
  • Eliminates taste and odor
  • Removes organic compounds
  • Protects RO membranes
  • Chemical-free treatment

Auto Multiport Valve

Our systems come equipped with automatic multiport valves that simplify operation:

  • Automated backwash cycles
  • Multiple operational modes
  • Time or pressure-based operation
  • Reduces manual intervention
  • Corrosion-resistant construction
  • Long service life

Applications

  • Pre-treatment for RO systems
  • Municipal water supply
  • Industrial process water
  • Swimming pool filtration
  • Cooling tower makeup water
  • Food and beverage industry
  • Hotels and resorts

System Configuration

We offer both standalone and integrated systems:

  • PSF only systems
  • ACF only systems
  • Combined PSF + ACF systems
